Windows XP professional
All right. Nobody uses this crap thing shit ancient os abandonware os anymore. But, sometimes, you have to test something or use that very old tool, and it makes you climb into your shed, dig some boxes to find that very old computer you never trashed for sentimental reasons. Then, take some hours trying to turn it on. Then the power source explodes, your house’s fuses blow, the 2-month pet of your daughter chews the only PS2 mouse’s cable you have,… all that routine everyone people like me knows very well. Then you give up, trash everything off and do what you have been done at the start, which is, create a VM with a “fresh” install of WinXP.
But,… after doing everything, how do I activate this thing? I used those license numbers I found on a stick glued on that old PC I shredded, and the Windows starts annoying me with activation messages. Well,… Tried internet, tried that number that appears in the message, nothing works. So I went to Microsoft site and I find new 0800 numbers. Worth a try!, I thought. So, I called the activation center and typed the info the voice asked, then typed the info voice gave and violá.
Here the 0800 numbers:

EDIT: And you wake up next day, glowing, happy, focused… after everything set, all software installed and working as new, you grab your tool and find out why you needed to keep stored that shitty P-O-S!!!! Because of a damn PARALLEL PORT!!!!

Mission update: un-trash and rescue… Or develop some Arduino based shit that converts USB-to-parallel.
BIG EDIT: I needed – again – to activate a Windows XP and I found something even better!!
Click to download the xp_activate32.exe tool!
