86box
86Box is a low-level x86 emulator that runs older operating systems and software designed for IBM PC systems and compatibles from 1981 through fairly recent system designs based on the PCI bus. It's a must-have. You can play with your knowledge to create old systems, just like your old Asus P3BF with Voodoo3 running Windows NT, where you played hours of Quake with your friends. This is version 4.2. Also packed with the respective roms. You can also check newer releases on their Github: https://github.com/86Box/86Box/releases/latest
There's a lot of videos showing how to use and play with 86box. Here some:

Then, some ideas from Tech Tangents, that show the system working.

Linus Tech Tips below made a video about PCem, which is the same thing. 86box is a fork of PCem, and look how fun it is to revive old memories!
